Gainesville Greenway Challenge: Invasive Species Roundup

  • When: Saturday, December 7, 2019,  9:00 am - 11:30 am
  • Location: RIng Park, Gainesville FL
  • Cost: Free

This month come explore nature at Alfred A. Ring Park! We'll be rounding up the invasive species coral ardisia and tuberous sword fern that are scattered throughout the park. It will be a great morning to explore and care for your local park now that cooler weather has arrived!

The Gainesville Greenway Challenge is a year-round effort whose aim is to restore natural habitat in Gainesville by removing invasive non-native plant species that threaten ecosystem health.

Join us at our First Saturday Invasive Species Roundup as an individual volunteer or as a group to pull invasive plants in City of Gainesville Nature Parks!
