Join us for a May Museum Nights event celebrating art and community. Museum Nights is a place to do your own thing and explore what catches your interest. Check out the happenings: Explore newly re-opened galleries including the exhibition One World: Photographs from a Shared Planet with commentary from Dr. Carol McCusker, Curator of Photography. Meet local artists from the Gainesville Fine Arts Association (GFAA) and learn about upcoming artist studio tour opportunities. Get creative with a drawing workshop hosted by local artist, Aika Anderson. Discover the creative side of Harn Museum volunteers at the Docent Art Show. Connect with Seniors on the Move for a timeless dance performance. Jump on a tour to learn the collections, including a special Journey to Juneteenth tour to discover remarkable work by Black artists in the collection: “Journey to Today”, presented by Errol Nelson, Student Engagement Manager at the Harn.
