The orchestra workshop is free to all of the community of Gainesville:
FOR ALL AGES/ALL LEVELS: Anyone with a string (or woodwind) instrument is welcome to play a day with the Annasemble orchestra: to rehearse and perform a piece as part of a combined performance with the Star Center Theatre and Caring and Sharing school. 2 PM orchestra workshop – 3:30 PM performance.
This year’s selection is the well-known folk tune: Shenandoah. It includes silent acting out the scenes of the story, as sung by members of the orchestra and Star Theatre.
