Build a gorgeous bouquet vase using textured slabs of black porcelain. We will use natural materials such as seed pods, stones, shells, and flowers to add texture to slabs of clay before assembling them into a stunning form. Students will gain hand building skills that are specific to porcelain, as well as slab forming, working with templates, texture rolling, and creating composition.
This guided workshop is a lovely way to spend Mother's Day morning!
An important note- the clay we are working with is very dark in color, so wear dark clothes.
We will be working at a standing table so be prepared to stand and work.
