Come join us on an adventure around the world and discover how people from different countries celebrate the holidays in the winter season. Each week we will travel to a new country and explore their traditions. We will explore their culture by recreating some of their dishes, crafting, experimenting, and just enjoying their traditions. We will also find out where some of our favorite traditions come from. These classes will be fun filled and very hands on. (If your child has food allergies please let me know beforehand so we may find a substitute for your child.)
Intro to winter solstice and winter celebrations unit, we will briefly discuss the different holidays that are celebrated around the world. We will then talk about the different ways we celebrate during the holidays.
Activity: We will kick off the unit by decorating a holiday ornament, making cards for our love ones and learning how to make a homopolar motor tree.
