Our Walkathon features a 3K walk and Waggin’ Tails Festival with puppy kissing booth, music provided by local DJ and auction drawings. Come visit our guide dog puppies before they go off to "college" to hopefully become a guide dog for a visually impaired person or a service dog for a veteran with disabilities. Make a big impact for people with vision loss and veterans with disabilities, whether you raise funds for our mission or simply bring your dog to the Waggin’ Tails festival! We are committed to creating safe and healthy experiences for all of our Walkathon participants, and should the need arise, we are prepared to modify each event to make it safe for everyone to enjoy the day. This is an event for families and kids! We’ll have our Southeastern Guide Dog puppies there for people to meet and the kids will be able to collect the puppy cards with pictures taken at about 7 weeks old and find that dog now at about 6-12 months old. About 12-14 dogs. There will also be a puppy kissing booth for fun pictures. We’ll be raffling off various items/gift cards donated for this event in addition to a 3k walk thru the Town of Tioga promenade for people and their dogs.
