Get ready for a creative weekend adventure like no other! Join us at Lubee Bat Conservancy for a painting party and a private behind-the-scenes tour to meet some of the world’s most incredible giant fruit bats—up close and personal!
Local artist Samm Wehman Epstein of Samm Wehman Art will guide you in painting your favorite pet, animal, or (of course) the beautiful bat!
What to expect:
The Painting Party (3 hours)
Create your very own masterpiece! Samm will pre-sketch your chosen animal on canvas and guide you step-by-step as you bring it to life.
All art supplies provided by Samm, so just bring yourself and your creative energy!
FYI: The bats won’t be hanging out while you paint in the Education Center, but trust us— our Batcasos will be waiting for you. Creating their very own works of art!
The Bat Meet & Greet (Tour Time!)
After you finish your painting, go behind the scenes with one of Lubee’s bat experts for an unforgettable encounter with these fabulous animals. Don't forget your cameras, as this is your chance to feed the bats!
