  • Location: Marston Science Library 444 Newell Dr, Gainesville, FL 32611

Meet us at Marston! We’re bringing the Museum to you here on campus and would love to meet you. Dive into the world of sharks in honor of the 50th anniversary of the movie ‘Jaws.’ Learn all about these often-misunderstood animals and bust some common myths.

We’ll be joined by the Florida Program for Shark Research, the program studies and researches sharks while also cataloguing shark attacks worldwide to better understand staying safe around these creatures. Check out cool specimens from our collections and learn about prehistoric sharks that called Florida home.

Stop by our table at the library to do FREE activities, meet your campus natural history museum, and learn about these interesting creatures. We’ll be outside the main entrance of the Marston Science Library.
