UF Game Lab: Feathers and Friends

Feathers and Friends fundraising event will be held at First Magnitude on Sunday, August 10th from 2 pm-6 pm; we will have several lab members running interactive booths, demonstrations, stickers, crafts, and lots and lots of baby turkey photos, videos, and stories.

About us: We are the UF Game Lab from the Wildlife, Ecology and Conservation (WEC) department; and over the past year, have been focused primarily on wild turkey research throughout Florida. Currently, our lab has six postdocs, four graduate students, several research coordinators, a media/communications team and support staff. We have just learned that our funding has been pulled from the Florida state budget and are exploring options to keep the lights on, students in class, and researchers out in the field.
