From diverse species and cool adaptations to conservation efforts and staying safe. Discover the snakes commonly found in your area and learn how to identify them. Plus, enjoy coloring sheets and a Love Letter activity to show your appreciation for these scaly creatures!

UF/IFAS Extension cultivates and inspires leadership in youth by administering the statewide Florida 4-H Youth Development Program. Valuing a hands-on approach to learning, 4-H provides youth with opportunities to develop skills, accrue knowledge and explore career paths with projects and events on a broad selection of topics from agriculture to robotics to mock government. The organization also offers Collegiate 4-H, volunteer positions and sponsorship opportunities, so there are myriad ways for youth and adults alike to get involved.
