Florida Museum's Spring Plant Sale: ONE DAY ONLY!

  • When: Friday, April 11, 2025, 10:00 am -  5:00 pm
  • Location: Florida Museum of Natural History (UF Cultural Plaza in front of the Florida Museum) 3215 Hull Rd, Gainesville, FL 32611
  • Cost: Free admission

The Museum’s Spring plant sale is one of the largest of the year, featuring more than 100 species of Florida- and pollinator-friendly plants.

Discover which pollinator species you can attract and learn about the butterfly-friendly plants that work best in your landscape. Accent, host, native and nectar plants are available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Butterfly Rainforest exhibit.

This year, our popular spring sale will be ONE DAY ONLY!

The Florida Museum’s exhibits building will be temporarily closed for the large-scale expansion project. Our UF Cultural Plaza neighbors at the Harn Museum of Art have offered accommodations during the plant sale. Plant sale customers are invited to access the art museum restroom facilities once they open at 10 a.m. Check out their exhibits and gift shop after you pick up your plants!
