Join us on September 20th at First Magnitude Brewing Company for a special night of fitness, community, and giving back at the Inaugural UF Homecoming Charity 5K! This event will support Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a national charity that builds and delivers beds to children in need. Let’s help make sure no child in Gainesville sleeps on the floor!
Not only is this a fun way to get involved in UF’s Homecoming celebrations, but you’ll also be making a real difference. Hundreds of children in Gainesville are in need of a bed, and by participating, you’ll help support the local, student-led chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. A large portion of registration and sponsorship proceeds will go directly to this incredible cause!
Whether you’re an experienced runner or just looking to enjoy a walk around the park, everyone is welcome—students, alumni, and the entire Gainesville community!
