UF Symphonic Band Concert: April in Paris

Join us for an evening of music inspired by travel and all things French! We are excited to be joined by several guests:
Dr. Jay Jacobs, Associate Director of Bands at the University of South Carolina. (UF Alumnus)
The Satellite High School Band, under the direction of Joseph Leites. (UF Alumnus)

Each of our pieces was written in the last 100 years. Our earliest piece, 'An American in Paris,' was originally written for orchestra by George Gershwin in the 1920s. 'Suite Francaise' and 'Montmartre March' were composed in 1944 and 1958 respectively, and Instinctive Travels, our most modern piece, was published in 2009.

We hope to see you on Tuesday, April 16th! As always, the concert is FREE and open to the public.
