Ethnobotany and Mycology Walk with Mycol Stevens

Mycol Stevens will lead a walking tour through Rum Island Park to explore mushroom growth and Ethnobotany. A noted expert in mycology, this event will be entertaining and educational.

Arrive at Rum 138 at 12:45 pm
A shuttle will transport the group to the park.

Bring water - you can fill your canteen at Rum 138.

Bio: Mycol has studied plants and mushrooms for much of his life. Having spent many years working professionally throughout Florida as an ecologist, Mycol has implemented ecological restoration and permaculture on his homestead in North Central Florida since 2002. Come and take a walk in the woods with this “fun-gi”.
