Lizzie's Rosewood Race Book Discussion and Signing at the Matheson History Museum

Join historian and Real Rosewood Foundation founder and president Lizzie Jenkins as she shares about her children's book "Lizzie's Rosewood Race." The coming-of-age story follows Lizzie as she learns the history of the 1923 Rosewood Massacre from her mother and finds her calling to share the story of Rosewood. Lizzie's aunt, Mahulda Gussie Brown Carrier, was a schoolteacher in Rosewood and survived the massacre.
