Sweetwater Wetlands Park Ranger Led Tour- Second Saturdays

  • Location: Sweetwater Wetlands Park, 325 SW Williston Road, Gainesville FL
  • Cost: Free with park admission ($5/vehicle, $2 for pedestrians, vans and bikes).

Sweetwater Wetlands Park is hosting in-person, socially distant tours! Online pre-registration through Eventbrite is required. Only 10 spaces per tour are available. Participants must pre-register for the tour through Eventbrite on a first come first serve basis. Guests not registered cannot participate in the tour. Tickets for each tour go live on Eventbrite the weekend prior to the tour.
Participants should arrive at the park 15 minutes prior to the tour start time so they can walk to meet the ranger at the boardwalk pavilion on cell 1 (tour does not start at restroom area). The tour includes a short walking portion, about 1/2 mile total from start to finish and will last about 1 hour. Please bring water, sunscreen and comfortable walking shoes. Masks are required throughout the tour. Participants must pre-register for the tour through Eventbrite on a first come-first served basis. Check for registration link on website or Facebook page. If you book a ticket but are unable to attend, please let them know ASAP so they can give your ticket to someone else.

We are adjusting our monthly Ranger Led Tour schedule starting in October 2022. Tours will now be on the first Sunday in the afternoon and on the second Saturday in the morning.
