Alachua Audubon Field Trip: Turkey Creek Preserve

Meet at the Turkey Creek Preserve main trailhead at 6300NW 93rd Ave, Gainesville for a stroll along the wide trails through the lovely woodland forest. This preserve is a known local hotspot for migrants where we could find various warblers, grosbeaks, and tanagers. Brown-headed Nuthatch and Red-headed Woodpeckers nest at the north end of the preserve in the longleaf pine forest and will also be targets.
