Ducky's Farm U Pick Pecans

Fall is here, the weather is delightful - Come enjoy it with us in Forest Grove, Alachua at Ducky's Farm where you can U pick fresh and delicious local pecans to use in all your holiday dishes. Pecans make a great holiday gift also! Picking pecans is easy - we use a roller with a long handle to roll them up from the ground. Even toddlers enjoy giving it a spin. You may even run into our farm ducks while your harvesting. You'll be able to see our herd of sheep and donkey through the fence too. You can fill a 5 gallon bucket within an hour or faster with multiple people. Each bucket holds about 20 lbs of pecans, after cracking and removing the shells you will end up with about 25% of that, so expect about 15 lbs of nuts if you harvest a whole bucket. U Pick pecans are $4 a lb and we will crack them using our antique cracking machines for you for free. Visits to the farm are by appointment only, please don't try to come without reserving your spot first. Text or email preferred.
