Gainesville Police Department: Motorcycle Rodeo & Open House Event

Join us on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10 AM - 2 PM for an exciting day of fun and learning, hosted by Gainesville Police Department (GPD) and Santa Fe College!

Here’s what you can look forward to:
GPD’s Motorcycle Rodeo: The GPD is showcasing their FREE SMART (Safe Motorcycle and Rider Techniques) program with a thrilling “rodeo” event! Watch as local law enforcement and select SMART graduates compete in various motorcycle skills courses. Plus, May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, so it’s the perfect time to learn some essential safety tips!

Santa Fe College Open House: Explore the Institute for Public Safety at Santa Fe College and learn about the amazing programs they offer in Law Enforcement, Corrections, and EMS. This is a great opportunity to see how the college is training the next generation of public safety professionals.
