Puppet Theatre Workshop: Drawing/Painting and Crafting for All Ages

Students of all levels will learn to take an idea and render it into a fully formed character.

As a class we will build at least 2 10 minute puppet plays to be performed on the last day of the workshop. Artists will write, build and animate their own Puppet Theatre Show using everyday materials, objects and our vast imaginations.

Artists/Puppeteers please bring a writing pad and small sketch pad for ideas, a larger pad of heavier weight watercolor paper, elmers glue, scissors, water-based paint, brushes, masking tape or duct tape and random items from home you may want to repurpose for this project: old egg carton, examples-old clothesline, old frame, old fabric or old toys anything that may be used for props or rebuilding.
