Alachua County Amateur Radio Emergency Service Online Ham Radio Course

Join our evening zoom courses in the month of June to learn all about fun radios that provide reliable communications even when everything else has quit! Our radios can go any distance and meet the need -- and we will teach you how to get the full legal license!

Our entry-level course starts at 7 PM Wednesday June 4th over ZOOM and will be held most weekday nights to get you read to get that legal license and know how to use a real radio anytime for fun, or during a disaster -- and also how to connect to a thriving bunch of nationally-known local disaster volunteers.

You will need to purchase either the study book or the online course -- less than $30 -- but our local experienced volunteer instructors are FREE. Our course is based on the study book/online course. We will throw in our solid experience to help you make progress faster!
