Academy of Music and Art and Gainesville Guitar Academy

Lessons are customized to the individual goals of students of all ages from children to adults in private music, small art classes, as well as special group sessions and master-classes. The Academy has been given approval by the school system so that its lessons count for required arts credits in home school and high school programs. Students can also participate in competitions and club festivals on the local, state and national levels.

Art classes are available for ages 9 to adult in a variety of styles of painting and drawing.

Music Classes: The Academy was started by a group of teachers dedicated to the highest quality of teaching, and was set up as a co-op style. While five is the youngest age for some instruments, we do have some teachers of violin and piano who do private lessons for 4-year-olds.

Types of Music Instruction: Bass, brass horns & woodwinds, drums, guitar, keyboards, mandolin, strings and vocals.
