Academy of Music and Art and Gainesville Guitar Academy

Lessons are customized to the individual goals of students of all ages from children to adults in private music, small art classes, as well as special group sessions and master-classes. The Academy has been given approval by the school system so that its lessons count for required arts credits in home school and high school programs. Students can also participate in competitions and club festivals on the local, state and national levels.

Art classes are available for ages 9 to adult in a variety of styles of painting and drawing. We offer art instruction for everyone whether you're a beginner, hobbyist, college level or experienced artist. Our instructors are highly proficient and offer instruction in abstract, impressionist and realistic drawing, watercolor, oils and acrylics.

Music Classes: The Academy was started by a group of teachers dedicated to the highest quality of teaching, and was set up as a co-op style model designed to focus on expanding community access to the most talented teachers from the best universities in the world. Our goal is to share their years of performance and teaching experience, and shear love of music, with the community. The environment created by the school as an entity not driven by profit motivation allows our teachers the freedom to completely utilize their own talents, combined with the ideas of the entire faculty. While five is the youngest age for some instruments, we do have some teachers of violin and piano who do private lessons for 4-year-olds.
