September 2024 - May 2025, Fun 4 Gator Kids organizes WEEKLY FREE meetups open to Alachua County homeschool and virtual school families with children aged 5-13 Meetups are mostly scheduled Monday-Friday mornings or afternoons for a 2 hour period.
Examples of meetups: Field trips to local museums, nature parks, historical attractions or other educational attractions; Enrichment and Sports Programs hosted at local businesses, farms, and other organizations; Park Meetups with invited guest speakers on various topics for parents, like homeschool evaluations, intro to virtual school, teaching strategies. etc.; Park Meetups with educational activities for students provided by local businesses, educators, and outreach programs.
