A licensed psychologist since 1973, and a University of Florida and University of Illinois-Urbana graduate, I integrate my understanding of the theory, science, and practice of psychology to assist individuals and families to adapt, adjust, and develop to their highest potential throughout the life span.
My clients include children, adults, and the elderly with a wide variety of concerns. In addition, I consult with other professionals in health care and education.
My orientation is, in general, cognitive-behavioral with a focus on short-term interventions whenever appropriate. I employ other styles of intervention and modes of treatment according to the needs of each client and situation. My background in the military, private practice, clinical settings, and public health as well as my experience, both personal and professional, enhance my practice of psychology.
