First Horizon Christian Academy

Our mission at First Horizon Christian Academy is to make sure you child is raised to know Jesus while growing and learning in a safe, developmentally appropriate, loving environment. We understand that the first five years of a child’s life is monumentally important for positivity in their health, wellbeing and overall experience with life. Our program philosophy is that we believe the school, the child’s home, the church and the community all contribute to a well-rounded childhood and that it truly takes a village. In our small community, we strive to keep childcare affordable and convenient for your child’s first education experience.

We combine Funnydaffer and FunShine Christian curriculum to teach our students. Both programs are approved Early Learning programs through the state of Florida. We also use Teachers Pay Teachers and Pinterest for various crafts and projects throughout the year. By using both child-led and teacher-led activities we focus on the dynamics of Physical Development, Cognitive Development and Social and Emotional Development in children. In early learning, play is how we learn.
