Mrs. Dee’s Summer Camp

For Ages 7-15

Where education meets adventure! Join us for an unforgettable summer mixing science, art, and delicious treats. From crafting custom soaps and candles to growing a take-home garden, every week is packed with hands-on discovery and fun activities.

Each week, we will be doing different hands-on activities depending on the theme. Some of the activities we will do this summer:
Sports- kickball, flag football, volleyball, relay race, water play
Science we eat: Making cream cheese, Cake, popcorn, ice cream
Creation Station: tie-dye shirts, candles, glycerine soap, creams
Gardening- journaling, herb gardening, exploring medicinal plants
Engineering: catapults, balloon rockets race, build a Rube Goldberg
Experiments: making glow stick slime, Bioplastic Starch-based plastics,

Some of what we will learn:
About herbs, essential oils, how they are made, and experimenting with density, smells, and potions.
About measurements, chemical reactions, curd and whey, melting point of chocolate
About trajectory, speed, simple machines, kinetic energy, and potential energy. Get up and get moving, learn how to play popular team sports and games.
