Unleash your inner engineer in this high-energy, hands-on Combat Robotics Summer Workshop! Over 5 action-packed days, students will design, build, and customize their very own 1-pound plastic antweight combat robot—then test it in thrilling one-on-one matches.
This special summer edition combines the best of both our beginner and advanced workshops. Students will not only learn the fundamentals of wiring, motors, and radio control but also explore CAD and 3D printing to design custom parts and upgrade their battle bots.
Whether your student is brand new to combat robotics or ready to level up, this workshop offers the perfect blend of challenge, creativity, and competition!
What Students Will Do:
-Build and wire a plastic antweight combat robot from the ground up
-Learn the basics of engineering, electronics, and safe tool use
-Explore CAD (computer-aided design) to create custom 3D-printed components
-Practice strategy, design upgrades, and test battles
-Compete in mock matches and take home their own battle bot!
Why Join?
-Learn real engineering and design skills through hands-on building
-Gain experience in CAD and 3D printing
-Build confidence, creativity, and critical thinking
