Buchholz High School Drama Players Presents Arsenic and Old Lace

The Buchholz Players, a talented group of students from Buchholz High School, are thrilled to announce their upcoming production of Joseph Kesselring's classic comedy, Arsenic and Old Lace. Performances will take place on January 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31 at 7 PM, with matinee shows on January 24 and 31 at 2 PM.
Arsenic and Old Lace follows the story of Mortimer Brewster, a drama critic who discovers that his beloved aunts are hiding a sinister secret involving murder and mayhem in their charming Brooklyn home. As Mortimer grapples with the shock of his family's dark legacy, comedic chaos ensues, leading to a night of laughter and revelations.
"Arsenic and Old Lace is a delightfully wicked comedy where lovable characters and unexpected surprises keep the laughter going. Our cast has poured so much warmth and energy into every scene,” says Student Co-Director Maddie Silverman.
