Join the City of Gainesville's Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs: Cultural Affairs and The Thomas Center Associates for a celebration of America250 with the live performance of "Tea with Felicity" based on the American Girls books and dolls.
Tea with Felicity" features the American Girl character Felicity Merriman, a girl living in Williamsburg, Virginia, during the American Revolution. While learning to be a polite lady, Felicity makes friends with Elizabeth, an English girl, but their friendship is threatened when Felicity's father decides to boycott tea.
The celebration will also include live music, a classic tea party, quill and ink demonstrations and a tour of the Thomas Center Museum.
Feel free to dress up for tea and bring your favorite doll and books to share.
In partnership with the Star Center Youth Theater.
