Join us for arts and crafts for ages 5 and up. We are celebrating famous artist Louise Nevelson's birthday. She playfully called herself "the original recycler". Her large sculptures grouped together found objects into an intricate assemblage, that she then painted all one color. We will be creating our own sculptures using recycled/scrap items and gluing them to a piece of cardboard. After painting, we will use our sculpture like a big stamp and press down on a piece of paper. This will be a fun messy project, so plan your wardrobe accordingly.
