Create a set of 4 shallow bowls with black porcelain. Using flowers, shells, leaves, and other natural materials, we will explore composition and surfacing on wet slabs of clay. We will drape and shape the textured slabs over forms to mold them into beautiful bowls. The perfect size for snacks, sides, sauces, dessert, and more.
This is a very soothing and fun beginner friendly class, and a perfect way to spend Mother's Day afternoon.
An important note- the clay we are working with is very dark in color, so wear dark clothes.
We will be working at a standing table so be prepared to stand and work.

Disclaimer - Working with clay is a creative process, and outcomes can vary. Your work will be carefully dried, handled, and fired up to 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit by Karen after the workshop.
