High Springs Museum Open Day

The High Springs Historical Society Museum is reopening on Saturday, February 15th from 11AM to 4PM. The museum is located behind City Hall in the old school building. The society is invited the public to join them in their effort to inform the public of their great local history.
We have new officers and members and a new fresh outlook that are working hard to renovate our Museum. Our new displays will be historically accurate and we will have a children's area so they can run trains themselves.
The new diorama will be a model of the Atlantic Coast Line train yard in High Springs, that was started in the 1890's. In addition to the train yard we will have a main street diorama attached to display the buildings and businesses that will look like High Springs in that era.
