The University of Florida Math Circle is a free service to the Gainesville community that offers fun math activities for kids. The faculty and student-run group meets weekly and focuses on the enjoyment and exploration of mathematical ideas. We meet most Saturday mornings during the academic year.
Main Circle (aimed at grades 6-12)
Meets weekly on Saturday from 10 am to 11:30 am.
September 7 – first meeting.
October 19 – no meeting due to homecoming.
November 23 and 30 – no meeting due to Thanksgiving.
December 7 – last session for the semester.
Elementary Circle (aimed at grades K-5)
Meets from 9 am to 9:55 am on September 7, September 28, October 26, and November 9.
December 7 – combined session for all ages from 10 am to 11:30 am.
Advanced Circle (aimed at high school and college students)
Meets from 11:30 am-12:30 pm on September 21, October 12, and November 2.
December 7 – combined session for all ages from 10 am to 11:30 am.
