Join us for a Citizen Scientist Project! Help make a difference. The Great Southeast Pollinator Census is a citizen science project created by the University of Georgia. This project is designed for everyone to participate and make a difference for pollinator conservation!
What’s Happening? You will be scientist and help count pollinators.
1st Choose Your Plant: Explore our butterfly garden and pick a plant to observe. Learn how it attracts insects with nectar or pollen!
2nd Meet the Insects: Quick intro on the cool differences between bees, wasps, flies, butterflies, and moths.
3rd Tally Time: Grab your tally sheet, set your timer, and see how many bugs you can spot in 15 minutes!
4th Make an Impact: Record your findings using our easy QR code or link and contribute to the Great Southeast Pollinator Census.
We hope you leave the pollinator party more confident in sharing your space with pollinators, some of the “small things that run the world.”
You might even want to plant your own habitat!!
