Want to earn money while you learn?! Will you be in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade for the 2024-2025 school year? Join LIGHT!
Leaders Igniting a Generation of Healthy Teens (LIGHT) is a peer education program designed to increase students’ knowledge, skills, and behaviors associated with avoiding unintended pregnancies, HIV, STIs, and other health issues. It also seeks to create a climate that supports healthy decision-making and advocacy skills among young people while building a pipeline to leadership. This group of students will be selected to be the LIGHTs within their schools and beacons of honest and accurate sexual health information. LIGHTs receive a monthly stipend, volunteer hours, make lifelong friends, and more!
