Play Forest Preschool: Summer Solstice Crafts

Please join us a few days before Summer Solstice to do some seasonal crafts, have some lemonade + snacks, and pass our summer being creative in community.
This event is for children ages 3-6, hosted at Play Forest Preschool in La Crosse (15 minutes north of Gainesville/5 minutes east of Alachua). $5/child for materials. Space limited to 30 children!
You and your children will make a suncatcher to be hung in your window at home, a sunprint where we observe the powerful effect of the sun, and also a whimsical weaving project.
Simple fun activities on a hot summer morning!
You will take home your 3 solstice crafts plus a sun-inspired movement poem to share with your family.
We will gather at 10:30 am to experience the poem with movements, together!
