Morningside Nature Center Living History Farm Gulf Coast Sheep Annual Shearing

It’s getting hot neighbors, so it’s time for a haircut! Except in this case it’s not just a haircut, it’s a shearing! This Saturday (April 27th) starting at 11:00 AM and lasting until about 12:30 the flock of Gulf Coast Sheep at the Morningside Nature Center Living History Farm will get their annual shearing! Have we any wool? Come out and see as our visiting shearer harvests a lot more than three bags full! As always, produce donations (squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, bananas) are welcome for our farm animals, but please give them to one of our staff and not directly to the animals.
