Kika Silva Pla Planetarium Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing Event

Our community will get to experience a partial eclipse of the Sun on Monday afternoon, April 8, 2024. The Kika Silva Pla Planetarium and the Alachua Astronomy Club will be hosting a free ‘Eclipse Viewing Event‘ between 1:45 pm – 4:15 pm at the planetarium that day (weather permitting). Complimentary solar eclipse viewers will be available (while supplies last) during the weeks leading up to the solar eclipse.
