Alachua Audubon Field Trip: Prairie Creek Preserve

- Location: 7204 Co Rd 234, Gainesville, FL 32641
- Cost: free
Park at the Prairie Creek Lodge. This trip will be group led. We will split into two groups. Group one will start at the banding lab. Group two will take the Lodge (green) Trail that goes by the native plan garden with new signage from AAS/ACT. We will then go past the cemetery then on to the Kathy Cantwell Trail. Groups will then switch.
Difficulty: 1 - 1.5 miles Trails are unpaved and in some places can be muddy, uneven, or wet.

Non-members are always welcome.
Here are some items to consider carrying on any field trip: binoculars (a must), water, bug spray, sunscreen, hat, sturdy shoes, rain gear for sudden downpours, notebook, camera, contact information.
