The festivities begin on Thursday, December 5th and ends Saturday, December 7th.
Thursday, December 5th - 5:30 pm
The night begins with a Christmas tree lighting in the park with Mayor Davis, hot chocolate, popcorn, the Kids 1 mile Fun Run and then the Jingle Bell Fun Run & Walk for ages 13 & up. We will end the night with a Christmas movie under the stars.
Friday, December 6th - 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm
This night begins our arts and crafts show. We will have food vendors, live entertainment, Santa provided by Coca-Cola of Florida, and we have been told there is 100% chance of snow that evening. Then, of course you don't want to miss the grand finale, our professional fireworks show at 9:00 pm!
Saturday, December 7th - 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Downtown Live Oak is again filled with over 300 arts and crafts vendors, dozens of different food vendors, a car show, Santa Land and live entertainment at Millennium Park. Ending the perfect weekend with our beautiful Lighted Christmas Parade at 6:00 pm.
Christmas on the Square hosts over 300 vendors offering arts and crafts, hand crafted wood works, quilts, furniture and much more. As visitors progress through the arts and crafts booths, you can’t resist the smell of the delicious and diverse foods in the food court. You can enjoy many different types of meals and tasty snacks.
In Millennium Park, you will find entertainment from the best of Live Oak’s very own local talent. Singing and dancing are a major part of the show. You will enjoy your local favorites singing Christmas songs and presenting dance and gymnastic recitals. While enjoying the entertainment be sure to visit Santa Land and give Santa your wish list.
This entire event is a public-benefited fund-raising operation under the direction of the Suwannee County Chamber of Commerce. Those who would like to enter their talent, arts and crafts, concession booth, automobile or float decorating skills should contact the Suwannee County Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is delighted to have everyone in the community take part in such a spectacular event.
