Girl's Place, Inc.

At Girls Place, we empower girls to grow courageous, strong and self sufficient. We inspire our girls to celebrate themselves—their minds, their hearts, and their physical well being. Offering after-school programs, sports, camps, leadership, and mental health support.

Leadership:
First Place Leadership is a leadership program grounded in the five components of authentic leadership: self-awareness, values, motivation, support team and integrated life. The curriculum was created by Executive Director, Dr. Janna Magette, through her doctoral research.

First Place Leadership takes place once a week and includes guest speakers, lessons, and activities. So far, guest speakers have included current and former Gator athletes, business professionals, and Girls Place board members.
