M.A.P. Music and Art Classes

M.A.P. is an innovative project dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and teaching leadership skills to youth. M.A.P. has provided musical instruments, art supplies and innovative learning programs at no cost to youth. This program teaches youth the fundamentals of music and art along with character education, literacy and leadership development.

Currently, M.A.P. offers the following classes: beginning piano, intermediate piano, ear training, music improvisation, introduction to recording, introduction to drawing, color theory, painting for the beginner, and character education, which includes creative writing and songwriting techniques.

Enrichment activities include community performances, community services, and educational field trips. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
