CDS Family and Behavioral Health Services

Sometimes youth with a safe place to live have the same kinds of problems that youth in our residential program have. These include thinking about or threatening to run away, cutting school, ungovernable or belligerent behaviors, and difficulty getting along. Family Action counselors work with youth to help them with their problems and also work with their parents or caregivers and siblings to create a better living situation for everyone involved. Family Action counselors can meet with youth at school, home, or other location if going to the office or shelter is not convenient. There is no charge for these counseling services.
