UF Homecoming Parade

One of the longest-standing Gator traditions at the university, the Homecoming Parade is truly an event for the entire Gator community. The parade attracts tens of thousands of Gainesville residents, students, alumni, and faculty.
On average, there are over 100 floats and special units showing off their Gator pride throughout the two hour parade. Student organizations build floats in the hope of winning the coveted Homecoming Cup, while local bands, dance teams, and celebrities proudly represent their Gator spirit.
