WUFT-FM Morning Edition and WUFT Amplified host Glenn Richards will serve as emcee for the event.
The fireworks by Skylighters of Florida will begin at approximately 9:40 p.m.
Food trucks will be on site. For safety reasons, no dogs, sparklers, drones or alcohol are allowed at the event. Coolers are allowed, but may be subject to search by the University of Florida Police Department.
Children's Trust of Alachua County is excited to sponsor the first-ever PBS Kids Zone at WUFT Media Fanfares & Fireworks. The event and Kids Zone open from 6 pm-9 pm. Activities and Giveaways: Balloon art, juggling instruction, necklace making, STEM activities, bubbles, temporary tattoos and more!
