
The Children’s Trust of Alachua County and the Willie Mae Stokes Community Center invite community members to celebrate Lights On Afterschool, a nationwide event that honors the impact of safe and engaging afterschool programs.
The event on October 21 will be hosted at the Willie Mae Stokes Community Center with festivities starting at 2:30 p.m. The 27th annual celebration of Lights On Afterschool is dedicated to promoting the accessibility of afterschool programs to all families and children. Families attending the Micanopy celebration are encouraged to enjoy free food and participate in fall-themed activities. This event is free and open to all families.
