William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is reimagined in this bold new production. When a group of students from Athens, Georgia flee into a shadowy forest, they find themselves caught in a web of romance, confusion, and eerie interference from otherworldly creatures led by a mischievous Puck. As lovers clash and a backwoods bluegrass band stumbles into the chaos, Shakespeare’s beloved comedy becomes both playful and uncanny, blending humor with folklore to explore how easily love can be twisted by forces beyond our control.
