Fuel to the Finish is a fun, non-competitive 5k started by three Buchholz High School students to raise eating disorder awareness in the community. Taking their personal experience with eating disorders and using it to educate others and make a difference, Fuel to the Finish works to teach participants about prevention, recovery, and breaking down the stigma surrounding talk about these disorders.
The 5k is a fun-run, so it's great for all ages and all runner levels. You can run or walk, and do as much of the course as you want. You can also just come, hang out, and play the yard games we set out.
Fuel to the Finish partnered with the National Eating Disorders Association to start this fundraiser, and all money raised goes directly to their organization to help them achieve their mission. It is $10 to register, and registrations will be open until the race starts.
