Is Your Family Storm Ready? Let’s Learn Together!
Preparation starts with the whole family! Bring your kids to your local library this June to team up with Alachua County Emergency Management. We’re blending safety education with stories and crafts to help kids feel confident and prepared.
Target Age: 3–8 (Parent/guardian must attend; older kids welcome!)
Activities: A special reading of Henry and the Hurricane, plus assembling and decorating a safety kit bag!
Not your library? Not to worry! Visit our Alachua County Emergency Management Facebook page for event details for each one of our 12 library branch locations!
