"Nonnas" is a heartfelt biographical comedy-dramafilm that tells the story of Joe Scaravella, played by Vince Vaughn, who opensan Italian restaurant named Enoteca Maria after the loss of his mother andgrandmother. The film is based on the true story of Joe Scaravella, who openedhis restaurant in 2007 and it is still operating today. The restaurant featuresnonnas as chefs, inviting customers to relive childhood memories through thefood they used to make. The film received mostly positive reviews and hit No. 1in the United States during Mother's Day weekend.
